AROUND NEPAL

A FEW PHOTOGRAPHS FROM MY TRAVELS AROUND NEPAL BEFORE HEADING HOME

A temple damaged by the 2015 earthquake under reconstruction. You can see the massive concrete columns with every detail of the decoration poured in place.

Construction sites I stumbled upon while travelling. It was interesting to notice similar construction practices I learned while I was working on site (such as tying a piece of rope to a shovel and using two people to mix concrete instead of one (second person pulls on the rope to make the shovel move easier). Tying plastic bags around your feet is also a good idea, as it reduces the risk of concrete burns on your legs.
